UK Healthcare Admissions

ASFM recruits Nurses / Senior Carers / Carers / Domiciliary Carers and Live in Carers to work in the United Kingdom. UK has a massive shortage of the above professions. A Tier 2 Visa for Skilled Workers is obtained for the nurses that we recruit. The visa leads to PR and spouse and dependent children (under the age of 18) are eligible to go with the main applicant. In UK all medical and education is free of charge.

The visa is obtained under the Senior Carer / Carer category. All qualified nurses must also demonstrate English proficiency. If you have a degree in Nursing this is obtained by using the UK ECCTIS organisation. If you have a diploma then UKIV IELTS with an overall score of 5 is required. ASFM will guide you through the whole process.

Other requirements to obtain the visa include a job offer which leads to a Certificate Of Sponsorship (COS) a TB report and a PCC. Again, ASFM will advise you on how to obtain all these requirements.

After one year of employment all nurses are exempt from any proof of English proficiency. The nurse then needs to take two exams. OSCE 1 (computer based test) and OSCE 2 (practical exam). Once OSCE 1/2 are passed the nurse will become a fully qualified British nurse. Note that the salary will then increase quite substantially. So, the service we provide includes:

  • Arrange the interviews with the hospital or care home.
  • Advice on all visa requirements including English Proficiency
  • Gather all documents needed for the visa. We check all of them before submitting
  • Advice on flights and accommodation
  • We work closely with the hospital or care home once you are employed to ensure you get all the support you need
  • ASFM is a one stop shop to cater for all your relocation needs.
